* You need to complete 35 hours of CPD in each CPD year with 21 hours being structured and 14 hours being structured or unstructured. 3.5 hours of this CPD must be in ethics if working towards chartered membership also, your CPD must have been logged in the consecutive years immediately preceding your CISI membership. You will need to provide written confirmation of your relevant membership history with the relevant Chartered Body, this should be included with your application. How to become a Chartered Fellow (Financial Planning)
Chartered Fellow (Financial Planning) is a membership grade awarded by the CISI to
      individuals
      who are
      committed to maintaining high standards within the financial planning profession.
      
By becoming a Chartered Fellow (Financial Planning), you join a global community of
      experienced,
      qualified and excellent financial planners. The designation associated with this membership grade can be
      showcased on
      your online profiles such as on
      LinkedIn, in your email footer, or on a business card, helping you stand out and demonstrate your high level of
      competence to your clients and colleagues.
      
To apply you will need to meet the below eligibility
      criteria and
      then complete the Chartered Fellow (Financial Planning) form.

Eligibility criteria
The CISI is pleased to offer this membership grade to all eligible CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professionals. If you have passed the Level 7 Diploma in Advanced Financial Planning, all you need to do is meet the below CPD criteria.
Successfully completed 1 year CPD as a full CISI Member 
2 years of CPD successfully completed as a full CISI Member or CISI Chartered Member 
Or
1 year of CPD successfully completed as a full CISI Member or CISI Chartered Member and 2 years of CPD as a Chartered Member of a relevant Chartered Body* 
Or
3 years of CPD as a Chartered Member of a relevant Chartered Body* 
*Please note, CPD must have been logged consecutively in the years immediately preceding your CISI membership. 
You will not be eligible to apply if you have not successfully logged 35 hours CPD from your most recent CPD year.
You will need to provide written confirmation of your relevant membership history with the relevant Chartered Body, this should be included with your application.
There is a £55 application fee plus the difference in your annual membership fees from your current grade of membership. If you are currently a
      Chartered Fellow, there will be no fees incurred.
